HAROLD W. GOSSELIN - JONESVILLE -- Harold W. "Pete" Gosselin, 48, died due to an accident on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013. Pete was born April 20, 1965, to Cassius and Marion (Fuller) Gosselin of Shoreham. Pete attended Middlebury Union High School and was a veteran of the armed forces serving in Operation Desert Storm he was employed by Richmond Home Supply and was a life-long truck driver. Pete was passionate about being an outdoorsman, fishing in his beloved Bayliner Trophy and deer hunting in Shoreham and Middlebury. A loving family man, Pete spent time sharing his talents for the outdoors with his wife and children. Pete and Jeanne enjoyed quiet times together, taking rides, watching movies, and just being with each other. He is survived by his wife and life-long partner of six years, Jeanne M. Gosselin; his children, Stephanie Sturtevant, Matthew Gosselin, and Paul Gosselin; stepchildren, Cathlene Irish and David Irish; and father-in-law, Real Therrien. Pete came from a large, loving family of several brothers and sisters, Elizabeth McKean and her husband, Thomas, Madeline Sturtevant, George Gosselin, Lena Walsh and her husband, William, Grace Vaughan and her husband, Timothy, Cassius Gosselin and his wife, Rachel, Theodore Gosselin, John Gosselin and his wife, Helen, Sherry Durant and her husband, Dale, Jacqueline Gosselin, Audey Hornbeck and her husband, Randy, Joseph Gosselin and his companion, Suzanne, and Charles Gosselin. He was predeceased by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Main Street in Richmond. Visiting hours will be Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Giffords Funeral Home, Depot Street in Richmond.
