JOHN L. WOLFF IV - SOUTH BURLINGTON - John L. Wolff IV, 35, son of Dr. John L. Wolff III and Karen Wolff, of South Burlington, died on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013. John lived his life fully. He was a father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, artist and author, and craftsman. His works have been exhibited at the Firehouse, Rose St., and St. Albans Galleries, Red Square, and the South End Art Hop. John was a very intelligent, very sensitive, and a very loving person. He was a wonderful, loving father who focused on his most precious daughters, Jacqueline and Lilliana. Whether it was hours on the trampoline, a campout and roasting marshmallows in the backyard, or a hike to find frogs at the frog pond; he always gave Jacqueline and Lilliana his full loving attention. His girls love him so much. Besides his parents and daughters, John leaves his brothers, Matthew Wolff, and Mark Wolff and his partner, Erika Irish; grandparents, John L. Wolff Jr. and Janet; aunts and uncles, Jill Wolff Bruno and Gus Hatzis, Jeffrey and Jill Wolff, Lynn Wolff and David Newton, Ron and Dee Thomas, and Ray and Linda Love; many loving and close cousins, Katie, Jessica and Elsie, Jay and Jeb, Sheri, Nick, Luke, Greg and Chris; and the mother of his daughters, Sarah Kaplan. John was a very special, unique individual who was loved by many. He was fragile, he was strong, he was kind, and he was generous. He will be missed. A funeral service was held on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, in the First Congregational Church, So. Winooski Avenue, Burlington, with burial in Resurrection Park Cemetery, South Burlington. Arrangements are in the care of the Ready Funeral and Cremation Service South Chapel, Burlington.
