LORI ALLEN TAYLOR - ESSEX JUNCTION - Lori Allen Taylor, 49, of Essex Junction, passed into Glory on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in the Vermont Respite House in Williston, with her loving family at her side. Lori was born in Portland, Maine, on Oct. 10, 1963, to Walter and Joan (Johnson) Allen, and was married to Glenn Taylor on March 20, 1993. On March 22, 2013, they celebrated 20 years together with a beautiful vow renewal ceremony. Over the years, Lori worked as a hairdresser at many different places. Her loyal clients followed her from place to place. She enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, entertaining, going to the beach and spending time with her "goose" (her nickname for her daughter, Sarah). Lori was also actively involved in the worship team at her church and a devout follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will always be remembered for her bright red lipstick and her high heeled shoes. Lori is survived by her husband, Glenn Taylor; two children, Tyler and Sarah; grandchildren, Isabella, Maria, and Tyler Jr.; her parents, the Rev. Joseph and Joan Murphy; sisters, Rachel Seavers, and Kellianne Vallee; brother, Michael Allen; lots of nieces and nephews; and wonderful friends who will all miss her dearly. Lori was predeceased by her father, Walter Copley Allen. A memorial service will be held at Living Hope Christian Church, 1037 South Brownell Road, Williston, on Monday, April 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held at Ready Funeral Home Mountain View Chapel in Essex Junction on Sunday, April 7, 2013, from 2 to 5 p.m. Online condolences may be made to www.readyfuneral.com.
