Krupp of Colchester, and her companion Deane Douglas, in Good Shepard Hospice in Sebring, Fla. He was born on Feb. 1, 1942, the son of the late Francis S. and Dorothy G. (Muir) Krupp. Patrick married Nancy J. (Decarreau) Thompson on April 8, 1972, and most recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary together. He was employed as a security guard for the University of Vermont, operated and maintained heavy equipment for Engineers Construction and Munson Earth Moving, and was a carpenter/foreman for multiple construction companies including Nordic, Ashline, Bates, Robert E. Patrick grew up in Williston on his family farm, and later built a house with his wife Nancy, just two doors down. They lived on the lake in Colchester, and finally retired to their mountain home that Patrick built in Lowell. Throughout his life he enjoyed racing snowmobiles and riding with friends, working on and driving stock cars at Catamount Raceway, tending to his garden, and cultivating the most beautiful rose bushes. Patrick was also an avid NASCAR fan, he loved animals, loved to cook, and thoroughly enjoyed entertaining his family and friends. His intelligence, charm, witty sarcasm, stories, and smile will be deeply missed. In addition to his wife and daughter, Patrick is survived by four sons and their spouses, Bruce and Katy Thompson of St. Albans, Tony Thompson and Carolyn Snyder of Jericho, Jerry and Ruth Thompson of Milton, and Kevin and Beth Thompson of California.
