RICHARD A. CRIMMINS - SPRING HILL, Fla. - Richard A. Crimmins (Daiko), 62, died of natural causes on Sept. 5, 2012, at home in Spring Hill, Fla. He was born in New Brunswick, N.J., on Jan. 19, 1950, son of the late John and Alma (DeMaria) Crimmins, and grew up in South River. He graduated from Monmouth University and received his master's degree from the University of Vermont. Richard dedicated his life to helping people and guiding them to improve their lives and to acknowledge the gifts given to them by God. He sponsored charity work in India, the Philippines, and just about every country he visited. He always saw the best in people and worked to help them to find it as well. He leaves behind four sons, Akshay "Sunny" and wife, Jacqueline, Ashish "Nick," Jayson, and Javier; two beloved grandchildren, Hayden and Hayleigh; brother, John of North Carolina; niece, Victoria, and nephew, John, of California; his constant companion, Bella; along with countless friends whose lives he touched.
