RICHARD C. CLEVELAND - MILTON - Richard C. Cleveland, 83, passed away April 4, 2013. He was born on Sept. 19, 1929, in Moscow, Vt., the son of Robert and Esther (Chapin) Cleveland. He served in the U.S.M.C. during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Ladd Research after many years of various jobs. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan V. Cleveland of Milton; daughter, Nancy Peperissa and husband, Ken, of New Hampshire; son, Thomas and wife, Therese, of Georgia, Vt.; four grandchildren, Brian, Eric, Ben, and Rachel; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Glenna Carpenter of Colchester. Visiting hours will be on Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 1 to 2 p.m., with a service at 2 p..m., at the Corbin and Palmer Funeral Chapel, 9 Pleasant St., Essex Junction.
