SHIRLEY DINKIN - SARASOTA, Fla. - Shirley Dinkin, 93, of Sarasota, formerly of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Oct. 12, 2011. Survivors include her sons, Stuart Dunkin of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; Brant Dinkin and wife, Marcy Kass, of Williston, Vt.; grandchildren, Leah Dinkin of Williston, Vt., Phoebe Berkel of Northampton, Mass., and Lisa Secrist and her husband, Riley, of Jacksonville, Fla.; in-laws, Jerry Dinkin and wife, Judy Benson, Herman Dinkin and wife, Lois Dinkin; nephews and niece, Kenny, Marc, and Beth Dinkin, and their respective families; extended family and scores of friends. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Temple Beth Israel in Sarasota, Fla. Burial will take place on Nov. 16, 2011, in Mansfield. Shirley will be buried next to her husband, Oscar, who preceded her in death in 1995. Contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to Jewish Family and Children's Services of Sarasota. Shirley had a zest for life. She was greatly known for her sincerity and loving generosity. She was dearly loved by many and will be missed by all.
