TYLER MITCHELL RHEAUME - SHELDON - Tyler Mitchell Rheaume, age 16 years, a resident of Maple Glen Road in Sheldon, died Friday, July 19, 2013, from injuries received in a tragic automobile accident. Born in St. Albans on July 1, 1997, he was the son of Mitchell Roy Rheaume and Shannon Yvonne Gazaille. A student at Missisquoi Valley Union High School, Tyler was about to enter his junior year. He enjoyed school sports, playing junior varsity basketball and was about to enter Missisquoi's Varsity Basketball program. He had also been very active in playing middle school baseball. Tyler enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, dirt biking, and especially working construction with his Dad at their business, M&T Drywall. He loved his nachos, chocolate chip cookies and strawberry short cake. Tyler will be remembered for his infectious smile and for always wearing his Christian Cross. He leaves his father, Mitchell Roy Rheaume and his stepmom, Carrie Robtoy, of Sheldon; mother, Shannon Yvonne Gazaille of Alburgh; three brothers, Ryder Rheaume of Sheldon, and Wyatt and Elias Lussier of Alburgh; paternal Granna, Betty Ann Gamache, and Pappa, David Barnum, of Franklin; Pappa Roy Mitchell Rheaume and Cathy Zweeres of Swanton; maternal grandfather, Luke Gazaille of Bedford, Quebec; and great-grandmother, Eva Rheaume of Georgia; aunt and uncle, Rachel and Joel Jarvis and their children, Brianna and Trey, of Highgate; special family members, Eric and Laurie Kurtz and family; best friend, Emily Robtoy and her family; as well as many, many additional family members and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Robin Gazaille. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 4 p.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. Father Emmanuel I. Ajanma will officiate. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in St. Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery, Highgate Center.
