Dear Aunt Linda and Cousin Brent,
I love you both. I'm so sorry for you loss. Uncle Bill was a wonderful man and a great Uncle. Your visits to California are always remembered with fondness. My girls remember Uncle Bill as funny, and smart (brilliant) and happy. He enriched our lives just by being in them. He is greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,

We all will continue to hold this image in our mind. Certainly the love and affection of many friends will be with you during this most difficult time.

I will always remember Bill's masterful performances each year as moderator at Colchester's Town Meeting Day. He moved the meetings forward with wit, grace, and a wonderful sense of humor.

Dear Linda,
I was so saddened to learn of Bill's passing. There is hardly a childhood and, particularly, high school memory that does not include Bill. Although we did not keep in touch over the years, I have always considered him a special friend. My thoughts are with you and the family. Virginia Moore McMillan

Dearest Linda, I am so sorry to know that Bill passed away. John and I loved you both so very much. As you might remember, Bill performed our wedding ceremony in our home on October 13th, 1997. Then, performed a wedding ceremony for my daughter, Belinda, and the love of her life, David in 2003.
Linda, I know what you are experiencing. Please rely on your circle of friends to help you through this.

Dear Linda and Brent,
Bill is remembered with fondness in so many different ways. He was a true gentleman, well-mannered and so hospitable. There was not an event at your home that Bill was not the perfect host!
How fortunate The Saint Michael's community was to have such a scholar as Dr. Garrett. A brilliant mind and a dedicated professor are surely apt descriptors of Bill's academic career.
Bill fought bravely right to the very end. His courage is a lesson for all of us.
Our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Bill,
Donna and Marty
