FRANK OHL III - ESSEX JUNCTION - Frank Ohl III, died on Jan. 30, 2014, in the Green Mountain Nursing Home surrounded by loving family members, following a short illness. Frank was born in Yonkers, N.Y., to Frank Ohl II and Elizabeth Pierce. He graduated from Burlington High School and enlisted in the US Air Force, receiving a honorable discharge in 1954. Frank married Madelon Drew in 1956, they lived in Essex Junction for many years. He enjoyed a career in sales. Frank can be described as a kind, caring, giving, honest, happy man. He had a way of looking at everything in a positive way. He was a devoted husband, and the best Dad and Grampa that you could ask for. He is survived by his wife, Madelon Ohl; daughter, Melanie Chamberlin; son-in-law, Luke Chamberlin; grandson, Zachary and wife, Ashley Chamberlin; granddaughter, Hillary Chamberlin; great-granddaughter, Addison Chamberlin; and nephew, Steve Faust. He was predeceased by his parents; son, Kevin Ohl; and sister, Helen Faust. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Corbin and Palmer Funeral Chapel, 9 Pleasant St., Essex Junction. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you perform an act of kindness in honor of how Frank lived his life.
