TERESA C. CLARK - BURLINGTON - Teresa C. Clark, the youngest child of the late L. Barrett and Katherine (Kennedy) Clark, passed away at Our Lady of Providence in Winooski on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014. Born on April 9, 1927, in Burlington, she was a graduate of Cathedral High School and the Jeanne Mance School of Nursing. She worked for over 40 years as a registered nurse at Bishop Degoesbriand Hospital and Fletcher Allen Hospital. Upon her retirement, she devoted the remainder of her life to caring for her house which she loved, and her relatives when they became ill. She took great joy in helping to raise her great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Barrett Clark and wife, Doris; and sister, Mary Lovejoy and brother-in-law, Kenneth Lovejoy. She is survived by her niece, Susan (Lovejoy) Hanley and husband, Peter, of Dayton, Ohio; nephews, Brian Lovejoy of Burlington, Greg Lovejoy and wife, Joy, of Albuquerque, N.M., Neil, John, Thomas, and Bobby Clark, all of Burlington, and their spouses; and many great-nieces and nephews. Teresa's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff and Sisters of Our Lady of Providence for the loving care they gave her during her final months. We thank the caregivers from Home Instead whose companionship and caring brought great joy to Teresa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 7, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Providence Chapel, 47 W. Spring St., Winooski, with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery South Burlington. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, March 6, 2014, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Ready Funeral and Cremation Service, 261 Shelburne Rd., Burlington. Online condolences may be sent to www.readyfuneral.com.
