Obituary Condolences

LOUELLA ROBERTSON - BURLINGTON - Louella Robertson, 75, died peacefully on March 11, 2014, while comforted by her family, in the Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. Louella was born on July 10, 1938, in Burlington, the daughter of Armand and Blanche Boucher (Viens). Louella was a very proud and dedicated mother of six children who cherished every moment she shared with her family. She leaves very fond memories of her courage, generous spirit, and selfless dedication to her family and friends. Those who met Louella were touched by her genuine caring nature and contagious smile. Louella also shared a very deep compassion for animals, and as with her children, would extend great measures to protect them. Her sense of humor and compassion will be deeply missed by all who met her. In addition to raising her children, Louella was employed by the Howard Bank where she devoted 17 years to her job and loyalty to her peers. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Burlington. Louella is survived by her sister, Rose and William Gabbeitt of Milton; daughters, Debbie and Philip Ploof of Burlington, and Mary and John Trombitas of Clearwater, Fla.; sons, Kenneth and Laura Robertson of Essex Junction, Rick Robertson of Burlington, and Bruce Robertson of Ayers, Mass.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Virginia and Marlene Boucher; and life-long friends, Mary Ellen Boucher and Judy Drew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Armand and Blanche Boucher; daughter, Kathleen Sibley; brothers, Noel, Roger, and Junior Boucher; and sister, Mary Ann Delgado. Visitation will be held at the LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St., in Winooski, on Monday, March 17, 2014, from 2 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Burlington on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
