PAULINE (DESAUTELS) GENDRON BURLINGTON - Pauline L. Gendron, 70, left us on Friday, June 20, 2014, in Fletcher Allen Health Care. She was born in Winooski on Sept. 12, 1943, the daughter of James W. and Beatrice (LeBlanc) Desautels. Pauline and her husband, Richard, were married for 33 years before he predeceased her in 2001. She worked in the cafeteria at MCHV, DeGoesbriand Unit, for 30 years, and was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. She faithfully served at the weekend coffee hours for several years. Pauline enjoyed time with her family, collecting Teddy bears, card playing, Bingo, crocheting, knitting, all forms of board games and music. She is survived by her daughter and husband, May and William Davenport of Centerville, Ga.; grandson, James R. Gendron of Colchester; special friend and caregiver, Judy Leach of Burlington; siblings and spouses, Irene Bowman of Winooski, Jeannette and Reginald Cusson of Winooski; and William and Judy Desautels of Burlington; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, with interment following in New Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
