BEVERLY JEAN (BOUDREAU) JONES - ESSEX JUNCTION - On July 13, 2014, Beverly Jean (Boudreau) Jones, of Essex Junction, was called home. She completed her journey with dignity and courage. Beverly was born in Morrisville to Emile and Fannie (Reed) Boudreau on Oct. 21, 1935. After graduation from People's Academy in 1954, she worked briefly as a telephone operator, marrying Andrew Jones on Sept. 14, 1957. They eventually settled in Essex Junction, and she left work to raise their children. She took great pride in her job as homemaker - her husband and kids, her house and gardens, were her great passions. Bev was a genuine, caring, kind, compassionate soul with a smile that could light up a room. She rarely stopped trying to take care of people, from her children, her mother, Andy, her sisters, and anyone in need. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and with her church group. It was this "calling" that helped define her life and brought her happiness. She, in turn, brought joy to many. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Marie and husband, Jeffrey Moisan, of Milton; son, Darren Andrew and partner, Robin Jennings, of Essex; brother, Paul and wife, Beverly Boudreau, of Cary, N.C.; sisters-in-law, Madeline Hooper and Phyllis Despault of Morrisville, and Bernadette Jones of Enfield, Conn.; grandchildren, Megan Ward of Richmond, Jack and Kendall Moisan of Milton, and Savanna Moisan of Syracuse, N.Y.; as well as many special nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind special friends, Cal, Richard and Evelyn. Bev was able to stay at home during this past year with the assistance and outstanding care of her Home Instead caregivers, who became very dear to her. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, Essex Junction. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church, Essex Junction. A graveside committal will be held that day at 2:30 p.m. in Pleasant View Cemetery in Morrisville.
