SUSAN STARCHER VAUGHAN GEORGIA - Susan Starcher Vaughan, 55, died peacefully at her home on Sunday Nov. 1, 2009, surrounded by her family and friends. Sue was born on Nov. 14, 1953, in Burlington, the daughter of George and Claire (Lyon) Tresler. She was married to John Vaughan in June of 1978. She was an accomplished musician and played bass with many groups. Sue was a member of the VFW Post 6689 of Essex Junction and had worked for Milton Building Supply, Sticks and Stuff and Twin State Building Supply as a bookkeeper. She and her husband John also owned Rumors in Milton for four years. In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her mother Claire Tresler, both of Georgia; by her stepsons John Vaughan and Jason Vaughan and his wife Sheri, all of Maine; by her grandson Spencer Vaughan and granddaughters Natashia and Brittney. Sue is also survived by her close friends Eve North of Ga., and Louise Guilmette of Milton. She was predeceased by her father George, and by her brother Clifford.
