DIANNE (BOTHWELL) LEDOUX BURLINGTON - Dianne R. Ledoux, 64, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in Burlington Health and Rehab following a courageous battle with melanoma. Born in Burlington on Sept. 25, 1946, Dianne was the daughter of James R., Sr. and Mary Ruth (King) Bothwell. She married Donald Ledoux in The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in 1964. Dianne loved her work as one of the "Lunch Ladies" for over 17 years at Champlain Elementary School, and enjoyed being remembered by students when they met again as adults. She lived for and loved her sons and granddaughters. She will forever be remembered as a devoted loving source of strength and courage to her family. In addition to her parents and husband, Dianne was predeceased by her stepfather, Richard Carr; and in August of 2010 by her brother, James Bothwell. Dianne is survived by her three sons, Vance Ledoux of Winooski, Dale Ledoux and his daughters, Jenna and Lauren, and Donald Ledoux, all of Burlington; her brother, David and wife, Nadine Bothwell, of Savannah, Ga.; sister-in-law, Pamela Bothwell of Derby Line; her uncle, Robert King and wife, Jane; great-aunt, Katherine Lathrop; and cousin, Maureen Rees; as well as several nieces, nephews and other cousins. A special Thank You from Dianne's family to the family and staff of Burlington Health and Rehab for their compassionate care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 24, 2011, at 1 p.m. in The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will follow in Resurrection Park. Visiting hours are Thursday, June 23, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Home, 97 Elmwood Ave. Memorial gifts may be sent to the American Cancer Association, 121 Connor Way, Williston, VT 05495.
