ERNEST PAUL DUTIL

ERNEST PAUL DUTIL - SOUTH BURLINGTON - Ernest Paul Dutil passed away on Jan. 9, 2012, following a battle with cancer, at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, Fla. He was born in Richmond on March 21, 1939, the son of Al and Alice (Theoret) Dutil. He attended Richmond schools. On Oct. 14, 1961, he married Becky Livingston in Holy Rosary Church in Richmond. He lived in Milton for many years, where he raised his family, and moved to South Burlington after his retirement. He worked for Wilsons and Mckenzie meats for 35 years. He loved playing cards with his many friends and family. Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Becky; son, Jimmy of Milton; son, David and his wife, Kimiko, of Birmingham, Ala.; sister, Lucille Brigham Noel and her husband, Philip, of Williston; brother, Raymond Dutil and his wife, Kathy, of Cobalt, Conn.; sister, Pauline Truax and her husband, John, of Essex; brother, John Dutil and his wife, Vivian, of Richmond; brother, Philip Dutil and his wife, Maria, of Essex; and brother, Claude Dutil of South Burlington; grandchildren, Stacey, Jeffrey, Eric, and Christopher; and great-grandchildren, Isiah and Amani Ronga. He was predeceased by his parents; son, Danny; brothers, Roger and George Dutil; and sisters, Madeline Dutil Noel and Suzanne Dutil. A memorial in Paul's memory will be held in Richmond in the the spring followed by burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
