RUDOLPH JOSEPH LECLAIRE

RUDOLPH JOSEPH LECLAIRE - MILTON - Rudolph Joseph LeClaire, 79, of Milton, passed away peacefully, Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, in St. Albans Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. Albans. Rudy was born Nov. 30, 1932, in Hinesburg, the son of the late Wilfred A. and Eva Marie Marcotte LeClaire. On Aug. 7, 1957, he married Olive S. Pelard in La Rochelle, France, where they met. She predeceased him on Feb. 12, 2007. His grandson, Adam Muller, predeceased him on Nov. 15, 2007. He worked for Champlain Cable, the University Health Center in Burlington, and later retired from Mountain Transit in Milton, following 13 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. After retiring, woodworking in his shop was his hobby, making furniture for his grandchildren and Adirondack chairs for Elm Hill Farm. Rudy is survived by his children, Jacky Coulombe and husband, Kevin, of Milton, Phil LeClaire of Milton, Kathy Muller of Malletts Bay, Pat LeClaire of Texas, and Dan LeClaire of Highgate Falls; nine grandchildren, Jareco, Nicole, Amanda, David, Adam, Bethany, Samantha, Savanah, and Sierra; siblings, Madeline Phelps, Doris LeClaire, Margaret Turner, Cecile Labelle, Rita Bittner, and Roger LeClaire. The family would like to thank St. Albans Health and Rehabilitation Center for taking special care of their father, especially Jeannie Wilson and Shelley Bonnett at Vermont Cancer Center. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Minor Funeral Home Route 7 in Milton.
