PAULA MARIE EDDY - COLCHESTER - Paula Marie Eddy of Colchester, died in Fletcher Allen Health Care on Nov. 11, 2012, after a courageous struggle with cancer. She was born on Sept. 6, 1967, daughter of Paul and Yvonne (Roberge) Eddy. She had worked as a sales account director for 800 Response. Paula loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, being outdoors, camping, fishing, four wheeling, shopping, having fun all the time, and riding her Harley. Paula loved her job and her co-workers, who were like a second family to her, and hanging out with her grandson, Aidan, whom she loved so dearly. She loved singing karaoke, the sun and being on the lake/ocean, boating and water skiing, skiing, amusement parks, music and concerts and much more. She had fun with everything she did. Paula ALWAYS had a smile on her face. She looked to the positive side of everything. Through the most challenging struggle of her life, she still stayed positive and kept so much hope in her heart. She was so spontaneous and she was so much fun to be around! She was a daredevil, energetic, strong-willed, extremely determined, and she was very passionate and so loving! But most of all she was the strongest person we know! And we will love and miss her every day. She will never be forgotten! She was a wonderful mother who always helped her kids with everything they ever needed and pushed them to set their goals high and to reach for them until they achieved them. She was the rock who held the family together. She lived her life thinking that everything happens for a reason. God has a better plan for each and every one of us. A very special woman will be missed each and every day by so many. Paula is survived by her children, Paul A. Billado, Anngelee M. Billado and Lindsay M. Billado, all of Colchester; her boyfriend, Ricky Gillis of Colchester; her former husband and dear friend, Jeffrey Billado; her special friend, Donna Greco, both of Colchester; her brothers and their spouses, Robert and Linda Rushford and Richard and Jane Rushford, all of Milton; Joseph and Bernadette Eddy of Colchester; Steve Eddy of Essex Junction; her grandson, Aidan; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to the 800 Response family for their continued support during this very difficult time. A funeral service will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, in Holy Cross Church, Colchester, with interment to follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. Arrangements are by Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paula's memory may be made to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center (for pancreatic cancer research), Dr. Marc Pipas, 1 Medical Center Dr., Lebanon, NH 03756.
