MARGUERITE MARY MAILLE - SHELBURNE - Marguerite Mary Maille, 88, of Shelburne, died peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family on Friday Nov. 16, 2012, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. She was born in St. Albans on Sept. 30, 1924, the daughter of the late Philiza and Blanche (Benoit) LaMothe. Marguerite attended Shelburne schools, Mount St. Mary Academy, and Burlington Business College. As a devoted Catholic, she dedicated her life to her family, farming, gardening, and she loved sharing her faith with her family and friends. Marguerite was also a member of The World Apostolate of Fatima Devotional Prayer Group and attended Mass daily. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph Maille; five children, James and Sylvia Maille, Jane and Alan Liner, Joyce and Joseph Rivers, Joanne Maille, and John and Kathleen Maille; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, the Rev. Phillip LaMothe; sister, Cecile and husband, Anthony Senna; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marguerite was predeceased by her brother, Joseph LaMothe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at 11 a.m. in St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Shelburne. Interment will be in St. Catherine Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m., Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Arrangements are in the care of the Ready Funeral and Cremation Service, 261 Shelburne Road in Burlington.
