FRANKLYN DENNIS "DENNY" PARIS VENICE, Fla. - Franklyn Dennis "Denny" Paris, 70, of Venice, Fla., left this world for greener golf courses in the sky on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012. He was born in Burlington on Nov. 24, 1942, the son of the late Harold LeRoy "Roy" and May (Dennis) Paris. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1960 and the University of Vermont in 1965. He was a geologist, a grocery store owner and operator in both Charlotte and Waterbury, ending his employment years at IBM. He is survived by his wife, Val Duval of Venice, Fla.; daughter, Maria K. Paris and her mother, Marion Paris, both of Charlotte; brother, Roy Paris and sister in-law, Koelle, of Fredericktown, Mo.; numerous cousins; and his dear friends, Howard and Karin Scott of Venice, Fla. At his request, there will be no services at this time. A memorial service may be held in Burlington at a later date.
