MARJORIE (RISING) LABELLE - BURLINGTON - Marjorie Eleanor (Rising) LaBelle, 95, of Burlington, died at her home on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013. She was born on March 19, 1917, in Barre, the daughter of Lawrence A. and Stella (Lander) Rising. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1934. On June 29, 1940, she was married in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception to Ramon (Ray) LaBelle, who predeceased her in 1997. Prior to her marriage, she was employed by the Vermont Department of Agriculture in Montpelier. She is survived by two daughters, Dr. Joan (LaBelle) Creasia and husband, Dr. Donald Creasia, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Janet (LaBelle) Prince of Burlington; two granddaughters, Atty. Karen (Creasia) Yarrish and husband, Paul, of Hummelstown, Pa., and Tracey (Creasia) Hohenschutz and husband, John, of Leesburg, Va.; grandson, Marty Prince, passed away in April of 2004; four great-grandchildren, Christina and Michael Yarrish of Pennsylvania, and Cameron and Christopher Hohenschutz of Virginia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Burlington, where she was a parishioner for over 50 years. Burial will follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Road, Burlington.
