MILDRED R. TERRY - BURLINGTON - Mildred R. Terry, 79, of Burlington, went to rest, Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, in FAHC, surrounded by her family. There will not be a day that goes by without remembering her stubbornness, kindness and compassion for helping her family and friends. She was born April 26, 1933, in East Ferrisburgh, to David Jerry Sr. and Lucy (Annis) Jerry. Mildred enjoyed working on her embroidery, going to Bingo, watching TV and spending time with her family. She retired from UVM after 25 years of service, 1978 to 2003. Mildred is survived by her son, Albert Terry Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Colchester; two daughters, Rachel Gould and husband, Skip, of Colchester, and Joanne Newell and husband, Steve Shores, of Ferrisburgh; two sisters, Marian Morgan of Milton, and Estelle Parker of South Burlington; one brother, David Jerry Jr. of Ferrisburgh; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Mable Lafountain in 1976, Margaret Rushlow in 1984, and Ruth Lafountain in 2006; two nieces, Lucille Beaupre in 1989, and Sandra Rushlow Cook in 2012. You will be missed by all, and never be forgotten. We know you will continue to look over all of us and continue to guide us on the right path as we continue our journey through this life, until we meet again on the other side of Heaven's Gate. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, in the Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Home, 85 N. Winooski Ave., Burlington. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Bristol, in the spring. Arrangements are by Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Directors.
