He was born in Fletcher on March 9, 1915, son of the late William and Grace (Fitzgerald) Boozan. Roger was proud to have served his country during WWII as a staff sergeant with the U. S. Army. Upon his retirement from Tom's, he went to work part time at Gary's Barber Shop in Essex Junction until he fully retired in March of 2011 at the age of 96. He was a loving and always agreeable man who earned the respect of his many loyal customers whom he enjoyed sharing current news stories with. Over the years he had made many friends.
