RICHARD CHARLES DERAGON - BRISTOL - Richard Charles DeRagon, 72, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. He was born Nov. 13, 1940, in Hartford, Conn., the son of Romeo and Ida Cyr DeRagon. He was a member of VFW, American Legion Post #19, USS Nautilus Alumni, Vermont Street Rodders, and St. Ambrose Church. He owned and managed Park Filling Station for 18 years from December 1985 to December 2004. Richard is survived by his wife, Nettie DeRagon; son, Scott and Rachael DeRagon of Virginia; daughter, Mary and Mark Tierney of Monkton; two grandsons, Mitchell and Mattison Tierney; brother, Harold DeRagon of Florida; sisters, Linda Engle, Judy LaRose, and Donna DeRagon all of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews; friends, Tom and Peggy Adams, Ernie and Sally Russell, and Chris and Karen Luciano; friends and neighbors at Pleasant Hills; and special friends at the VT Street Rodders. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at St. Ambrose Church in Bristol.
