Terrie Lynn Parsons
Terrie Lynn Parsons, 49, of Jonesville, N.C., formerly of Butler, passed away Sunday at her home.
She was born March 8, 1963, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Joseph "Smokey" and Helen Vavro Kosar Jr.
Terrie was employed with Lowe's Distribution Center in North Wilkesboro, N.C.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Parsons of Jonesville, N.C.; one daughter, Nicole Gibson of Elkin, N.C.; two sons, Robert Gibson of Elkin, N.C., and Joseph Gibson of Butler; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Parsons of Butler; one brother, Michael Kosar of Vienna, Va.; and six grandchildren, Brian, Jacob, Caitlyn, Neveah, Colin, and Adam.
Terrie was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted friend. She had a big heart and touched all who knew her.
PARSONS - There is no public visitation for Terrie Lynn Parsons, who passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler.
