Edwin Bryan Taylor
Edwin Bryan Taylor, 72, of Hendersonville, Tenn., was promoted into heaven through death Saturday after a courageous battle against ALS.
He was born Feb. 23, 1941, in Tyler, Texas.
He served 33 years in the U.S. Army, being one of the first to achieve the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 5. He served in both the Vietnam War and Desert Storm, earning a Distinguished Flying Cross and Bronze Star in battle.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Darlene Bello Taylor of Hendersonville, Tenn., formerly of Butler; sons, Chris Taylor (Lorie) of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Tom Taylor of Tucker, Ga.; daughter, Stephanie "Pepper" Acevedo (Kevin) of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Austin Acevedo, Noah Taylor, Rachel Taylor and Nayliana Taylor, all of Hendersonville, Tenn.
TAYLOR - Visitation for the family of Edwin Bryan Taylor, who passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013, will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Church at Indian Lake, 1004 Drakes Creek Road, Hendersonville, Tenn.
A celebration of life memorial will take place on at 1 p.m. Friday at the Church at Indian Lake.
