Everett C. Halstead, 63, of Williamsport died Saturday.
He was the husband of the late Mary Ann "Muffy" Halstead, who died July 14, 2010.
Born Aug. 17, 1949, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Clair Kenneth and Gladys Irene (Beikert) Halstead.
After a lifetime of church ministry and several years as a missionary in Africa, Everett was surrounded by his legacy Saturday night when his faith was made sight. It was while singing his favorite song, "It Is Well With My Soul," followed by "To God Be the Glory," that he left us here to stand before his Lord and Savior to hear, "Well done, thy good and faithful servant."
Survivors include his children, Jennifer DeMarce and her husband, Jason, of Jackson, Mich., and their children, Tabetha and Ethen, Susan Dueck and her husband, Dalton, of Jackson, Mich., and their children, Jessica, Caleb, Ben, Jacob and Jeremy, Pastor Steven Halstead and his wife, Andrea, of Williamsport and their children, Koty, Jayla, Maddie, Aviya, Toby, Elli and an expected seventh child, and Thomas Halstead and his wife, Kristin, of Lansdale and their daughter, Chloe; and two brothers, Henry Halstead and Frank Halstead and his wife, Karen, all of Saxonburg.
HALSTEAD - Relatives and friends of Everett C. Halstead, who died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, may greet the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Grace Bible Church, 423 Main St., Souderton, Pa. A second visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church and be followed by his celebration service at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in memory of Everett Halstead to New Tribes Mission, 1000 E. First St., Sanford, FL 32771-1487.
