Eward G. Anderson

Edward G. Anderson, 67, of Wesleyville, Erie County, passed away Thursday at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Erie on May 9, 1947, the son of the late Edward and Kathleen Anderson.
Ed was retired military with the U.S. Air Force, following 21 years of service. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War era.
Ed was an avid golfer, participating in several golf leagues in the area. He was a member of the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571.
Ed is survived by his daughter, Heather Dovenspike; twin sons, Matthew Anderson (Caryn), and Eric Anderson (Veronica), all of Butler; three sisters, Mary K. Baker of Ripley, Sue Miller (Dave) of Albion and Linda Rocco (Armand); two brothers, Gerald Anderson and Mark Anderson, all of Erie; four grandchildren, Maddison and Zak Dovenspike, and Josh Harrison and Kaytlin Anderson; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma O'Connor and Cynthia Anderson.
ANDERSON - Friends of Edward G. Anderson, who died Thursday, June 12, 2014, may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, 2607 Buffalo Road, Erie, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and are invited to attend the funeral service there at 10 a.m. Monday.
A full military service will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery conducted by the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571.
