Henry L. Burkett, 86, of Zelienople died Friday morning in the Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony.
Born Sept. 17, 1926, in Harmony, he was the son of the late William E. and Olive L. Byers Burkett.
Henry had retired from J&L Steel in the chemistry lab with 15 years of service.
He was a member of the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church.
A veteran, he served during World War II.
Henry will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Anne Shimer Burkett on April 10, 2010; two sisters; and one brother.
Surviving are three sons, Gregory L. of Warren, Randy J. of Harmony and Scott (Aileen) of Maine; and two grandchildren.
BURKETT - The family of Henry L. Burkett, who died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. John Jefferis, his pastor, officiating.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church, 123 N. Pittsburgh St., Zelienople, PA 16063.
