James E. Antill, 76, of Renfrew passed away Saturday at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
He was born on May 9, 1937, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Frank and Edith (Emerich) Antill.
James was a veteran of the U.S. Army
. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Riley) Antill of Renfrew, who he married on Feb. 14, 1959; his two sons, Robert D. Antill and his wife, Cathy, of Zelienople, and Kevin B. Antill and his wife, Celeste, of Butler; his granddaughter, Logan M. Antill; his two grandsons, Brooks E. Antill and Chad Michael Chalfant, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Michael Antill; his two brothers, Frank "Jud" Antill and J. Thomas Antill; and his two sisters, Shirley M. Meeder, and his twin sister, Jane A. Nock.
Antill - A memorial service for James E. Antill, who died Saturday, April 19, 2014, will be at the White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, 102 Shannon Road, Renfrew, at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Lee Dreyer officiating. Entombment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
