Joseph A. D'Antonio, 75, of Lyndora died Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Born in Butler on June 10, 1938, he was the son of the late Rocco and Margaret Jean Cherry D'Antonio.
He was employed for 34 years as an auditor with the Internal Revenue Service.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army
He was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and the Sons of Italy.
Joe enjoyed all sports, particularly golf. He was a former member of the Oakview Golf Club and the Cubs A.S.A.
He is survived by his son, Vincent A. D'Antonio and his wife, Dana, of Butler; his three brothers, James D'Antonio and his wife, Judy, of Butler, Ralph D'Antonio and his wife, Kathy, of Butler, and Michael D'Antonio and his wife, Mary Lou, of Raleigh, N.C., and his two granddaughters, Grace Slomer and Anna Lee D'Antonio, both of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his sister.
D'Antonio - The friends of Joseph A. D'Antonio, who died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery.
The Bereavement Group of St. Michael's Parish will meet at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Tuesday to conduct a Scriptural Wake Service.
