Lonnie N. Kuzia
Lonnie N. Kuzia, 59, of Butler passed away at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday at VA Butler Healthcare.
He was born Oct. 12, 1953, in Pittsburgh to Ethel (Fielding) Kuzia and the late Frank A. Kuzia.
Mr. Kuzia was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War.
He was a volunteer at Butler Memorial Hospital. Lonnie "loved life."
In addition to his wife, Lynda (Hooks) Kuzia, who he married May 17, 2013; he is survived by his mother, Ethel (Fielding) Kuzia; four sisters, Donna (George) Patterson of Avalon, Pa., Holly (Larry) Dungan of Bellevue, Pa., Bonnie (Richie) Pancurak of Brighton Heights, Pa., and Della (George) Thompson of Brighton Heights, Pa.; one brother, Frank Kuzia Jr. of South Portland, Maine, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Kuzia.
KUZIA - Friends of Lonnie N. Kuzia, who passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be immediately following at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Winship officiating.
Full military honors will be provided by the Bantam Marine Detachment 743.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001.
