Paul A. Dunn, 81, of West Sunbury passed away at 11:05 a.m. Saturday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on Oct. 14, 1931, in Beaver to the late Robert Dale Dunn and Edna Cecelia (Frost) Dunn.
Mr. Dunn was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War.
He worked as an operator at Sartomer Chemical in West Chester, Pa., retiring in 1995. Paul also worked with his father, R.D. Dunn, in a family concrete business, R.D. Dunn Concrete Products. He enjoyed traveling the mountain roads of Pennsylvania and reading.
Mr. Dunn is survived by one brother, Robert Dale Dunn Jr. of Vancouver, Canada; one sister, Patricia Ann McCall of Renfrew; and two nephews, Mark McCall and his wife, Melanie, of Worthington and John McCall and his wife, Brenda, of Butler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Dunn, and one sister, Laura Mae Dunn.
DUNN - The friends of Paul A. Dunn, who passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. The funeral services will be immediately following at noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Robert C. Huber of the North Street Christian Church officiating.
Officers and members of the American Legion Post 778 of Lyndora and the VFW Post 249 will conduct military services at the funeral home following the funeral service.
Burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
