Rosemarie Raimondi, 43, of Butler died Monday in UPMC Seneca after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Butler, March 21, 1969, the daughter of Shirley Leitem Raimondi and the late James Raimondi.
She attended Slippery Rock University, studying preschool and childhood education.
She was a member of the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Murrinsville.
She enjoyed going to motocross races and riding motorcycles.
Rosemarie was a nanny and loved 'OPK' (other people's kids). She also worked for the Girl Scouts.
She was employed at Claire's Boutique in Butler, where she worked for four years until her illness.
Surviving are her mother, Shirley Raimondi of Venice, Fla.; her loving friend, Frank Severino of Butler; sisters, Annette and Victor Murray of Exton, Pa., and Lena R. Connell of Butler; brother, Michael B. Ramondi and his partner, Pat Eaton, of North Port, Fla.; nieces, Lucille Murray and Emily Murray; nephews, Andrew K. Connell, Alex J. Connell and Brian Eaton; numerous cousins and loving friends; aunts, Mary Noullet of Butler and Marian Raimondi of Kittanning.
RAIMONDI - Rosemarie Raimondi died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012. At her request there is no visitation or viewing.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Butler Assembly of God, 105 Purvis Road (Route 422), Mt. Chestnut, officiated by her cousin, Pastor Steve Noullet.
Cremation services are entrusted to STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main Streets, downtown, Chicora.
