Sally Ann Slater, 70, of Karns City passed away unexpectedly at her home at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday.
Sally was born April 8, 1942, in Grove City. She was the daughter of Ford Eugene Klink and Mary Elizabeth Crouch Klink Bell.
She was co-owner of Slater's Meats and More. She enjoyed spending time with her family and camping in Erie.
Sally is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bob Slater; three daughters, Michele (Steve) Dymond of Baltimore, Md., Kim (Chuck) Buck of Chicora and Kris (Jim) Zarnick of Karns City; one son, William "Bim" Slater of Petrolia; and nine grandchildren, Zac and Zane Slater, Charlana, Levi and Briggs Buck, Sarah and Stephen Dymond and Madison and Tyler Zarnick; and one brother, Bill (Chris) Klink of Renfrew.
Sally was preceded in death by her father, Ford Klink; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Bell; and her stepfather, William "Bud" Bell.
SLATER - Friends of Sally Ann Slater, who passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, will be received at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Visitation also will be held at the Concord Presbyterian Church from noon to 1 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Kevin Channel of the Concord Presbyterian Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Sally's favorite charity, Marine Corps Toys for Tots, c/o Sam Zarzulo, Box 413, East Butler, PA 16029.
