Thelma Slick Arbogast
Thelma Slick Arbogast, 96, of Mars, formerly of Brighton Heights, died Thursday.
She had been a medical assistant in the offices of Dr. W.H. Thompson and then of Dr. Napoleon.
Mrs. Arbogast was an active member of the Brighton-McClure Presbyterian Church, where she had been an elder, deacon, clerk of session and a Sunday school teacher.
Surviving are her loving daughters, Kathryn Rexrode of Indiana, Pa., and Barbara Ebert of Zelienople; her grandchildren, George M. Jr., David W. and Robert Reed Rexrode, George William and John H. Ebert Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Peters; great grandchildren, Jason N. Ewing, Amber Rexrode, Bethany B. Severa, G. William Jr. and Michael David Ebert, Beth Ann Knapp and Lyndsey and Nichole Peters; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George W. Arbogast; grandchildren, Kathy Ann Sullivan and Donald L. Rexrode; and son-in-law, John H. Ebert Sr.
ARBOGOST - Friends of Thelma Slick Arbogast, who died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, will be received from noon to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, 1014 California Ave., Avalon. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Dale Cemetery, North Side, Pittsburgh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice of Butler County, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001; or to Brighton-McClure Presbyterian Church, Brighton Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
