Charlene L. Kirker Bittner, 69, of Butler, passed away on Friday morning while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.
Born Oct. 26, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Floyd F. and Mary L. Way Kirker.
Charlene was of the Protestant faith.
She worked as a dietary clerk with 50 years of service between St. John's LAS, Mars, and Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.
Charlene enjoyed several hobbies, being on Facebook, settling in with a good book, knitting and crocheting. She was very crafty and liked cooking.
Charlene is survived by two sons, James (Jessica) Bittner of Cabot and Neil Bittner of Butler; two sisters, Patricia Williams of Lancaster and Debra Mason of Mars; one brother, Robert (Brenda) Kirker of Conneaut Lake; and two grandchildren, Andrew Heath of Butler and Allison Bittner of Cabot.
BITTNER - Friends and relatives of Charlene L. Bittner, who died Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, will be received on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.
If desired donations may be made in Charlene's name to Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
