Edward Paul Crispin
Edward Paul Crispin, 69, of East Butler died Monday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 7, 1943, in Butler, he was a son of the late Kenneth M. and Winnie P. (Lively) Crispin.
He was a retired machinist, was a member of the East Butler Presbyterian Church and had enjoyed fishing, trapping and vacationing in Williamsburg.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Sue (Swory) Crispin; three children, Edward Paul Crispin Jr. of Clarion, Darrell D. Crispin of Harrisville and Renae L. Crispin of Butler; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles L. (Grace) Crispin of Butler and Kenneth E. (Irene) Crispin of Butler; one sister, Marie P. (J. Leslie) Houston of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen (Crispin) Watterson McCune, who died in November 1994.
CRISPIN - Friends of Edward Paul Crispin, who died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, will be received at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday.
Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Mary Kitchen, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Gruenwald Cemetery, Butler.
