Jim; So very sorry for your loss. When the two of you visited us a couple of weeks ago, Jan seemed in good spirits. I enjoyed her company as I always did. We thought a lot alike, had the same interests. She was so talented in many ways, and I shall miss her very much.

My deepest sympathy to dear Jan's family. Her petite stature gave no clue to her mammoth personality and sincere dedication to any task. Jan was a quiet and compassionate encourager who earned respect by keeping her part of the Rowan ship tightly sailing on the right path. God blessed many educators through Jan. We will hold your family in our prayers. God will hold you in His hands through the deepest grief.

Jim and family:

I knew Jan as an all around great secretary at Rowan Elementary. My sister was a teacher at Rowan, and one of my best friends was the school nurse there for many years. They both had high praises for Jan. I only knew Jan professionally, and my contacts with her by phone and personally at Rowan enabled me to realize what a very proficient all-around great person she was. Many lives were made better because she touched them.

Jan will be sorely missed.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will send comfort to each of you.

Fonda Jones, (School nurse, retired, Seneca Valley Senior High School).
