Kenneth Robert "Bob" Biehl, 70, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Saxonburg, died Tuesday after a six month battle with cancer.
He was born Sept. 15, 1942, in Pittsburgh to Pearl Neubert Biehl Fox Parnell and the late Kenneth L. Biehl.
Bob graduated from St. Luke Lutheran School in Cabot and Knoch High School, Class of 1961.
He served two years in the U.S. Navy. He then attended the Wesser School of Heavy Equipment in Idaho. For 15 years, he built roads, dams and leveled farm land. He then drove 18 wheelers coast to coast. After his retirement, he worked for Ada County, Idaho, hunting and trapping gophers.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Biehl; two stepsons, Clay and Thomas; his mother, Pearl of Saxonburg; a step-granddaughter; stepbrother, Kent Fox of Freeport; and stepsister-in-law, Jean Fox of Saxonburg. His cousins, Gerald Neubert of Saxonburg, Dennis Maloney of Florida, Daniel Maloney of Ecuador and Taryn Sorenson of Tennessee, also survive.
He was preceded in death by a stepbrother, William Fox.
Biehl - There will be a graveside service for Kenneth Robert "Bob" Biehl, who died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
