Jeanne and I extend our sympathy to Mary's family. We graduated from Butler High School in 1938 - she in January and I in June. We always appreciated her efforts in overseeing our school reunions and she seemed to thrive on doing for others. We also enjoyed a visit to her Marydon Museum several years ago while on a trip east.

I was so sorry to read of Mary's passing. I have been away from Butler for almost 6 years now, but still remember Mary as a strong and vital member of our community. I worked with her in the women's clubs. She could not have been more personable and caring to me. Butler has lost a great lady and I'm glad to see that her name carries on in the museum that she was so proud of. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and the community.

I am proud and grateful to have known Mary, even though it was just for a short time. She was an inspiration to me and to my co-workers at the Butler County Assn. for the Blind. I will miss her so much.

Hers was a life well lived! We should all be as caring, as community-minded and as generous with our time, talents and support of others. So very sorry that Mary has passed, but forever grateful to have known her.

Mary was a wonderful person and we enjoyed spending time with her during her hours of treatment. She shared many stories with all of us Girls (and George)! We will miss seeing her come in with her Steeler Pillow and Blanket and chatting about the football games every week! Our thoughts and Prayers are with her family and friends, she will be missed by all.
