Mary Louise Brownley
Mary Louise Brownley, 85, of Forward Township, formerly of Holiday, Fla., died Saturday evening at Concordia of Cranberry.
Born in McKees Rocks on Feb. 14, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William Earl and Louise Schubert Haines.
Mary Lou was a retired registered nurse for St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars, and she was a member of the Old Union Presbyterian Church, Adams Township.
She was the loving mother of Nancy Wolford and her husband, Robert, of Morgan Hill, Calif., Susan Hannah and her husband, Thomas, of Evans City, Mary Lou Zoelle and her fiancé, Tom Gray, of Renfrew, Dennis Brownley and his wife, Deborah, of New Sewickley Township and Ronald Brownley of Holiday, Fla.; sister of Betty King of Grand Junction, Colo., Dorothy "Dottie" Lee and her husband, Victor, Mulvihill of Florida, Patty Burns and her husband, Tim, of Allison Park, Clark Haines and his wife, Lorraine, of Shaler and Kathleen DeForest and her husband, Walter, of South Wales, N.Y. She had 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Brownley Jr.; a son, William F. Brownley III; a granddaughter, Tracy Wolford; her sister, Virginia McKee; and her brothers, Edward, William and Kenneth Haines.
BROWNLEY - Friends of Mary Louise Brownley, who died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. The funeral service will be in the Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Peter deVries, pastor, officiating. Please meet at the church. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
