Minnie F. Bargerstock, 88, of Parker died Sunday morning at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sligo, after an illness.
Born Nov. 6, 1915, in Bruin, she was the daughter of William and Frances Champion Shay.
She was a United Methodist. For more than 50 years, she belonged to Lady Rebekah Craig Lodge in Craigsville. She was a member of Worthington Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for more than 46 years and a member of the Beagle Club Auxiliary of Craigsville for more than 25 years.
Mrs. Bargerstock had been a press operator at Craftsman Printing in Worthington for more than 17 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Carol) Courson of Parker; two sons, Edward Bargerstock, Jr. of Worthington and Robert B Bargerstock of Lyndora; nine grandchildren, Edward F. and John Bargerstock, Thomas, Timothy, Troy, Terry and Todd Courson, Tammy Tasker and Triscia Bartley. Also surviving are 18 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Edward Bargerstock, died March 27, 1973. As the last surviving member of her family, she was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
BARGERSTOCK - Friends of Minnie F. Bargerstock, who died Sunday, May 16, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at JACK BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Bowman, pastor of Parker United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.
