Shirley A. Schaffer
Shirley A. (Kelly) Schaffer, 70, of East Butler passed away Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born July 15, 1940, in Butler, the daughter of the late Cecil E. Kelly and his wife, Dorothy from Ohio and the late Eleanor (Blystone) and James Uenking.
Shirley retired from the Clarence Brown School in the Intermediate Unit IV as kitchen manager.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her dog, Blue.
Surviving are her husband, Gary Schaffer, who she married Jan. 13, 1979; two daughters, Eleanor (Jim) Graham of Karns City and Judi (Brian) Kuebler of Butler; three grandchildren, Jodi (Gene) Beitch, Carrie Marchinoski and David (Kelly) Marchinoski; five great-grandchildren, Dustin, Cody, Laura, Emma and Bella; two brothers, Robert (Ethel) Kelly and Timothy Kelly; three sisters, Sherry (Don) Richeson, Nadine (Bob) Sizemore and Stephanie (Jerry) Coleman all of Ohio; and a daughter-in-law, Belinda Marchinoski.
She also was preceded in death by a son, David Marchinoski.
SCHAFFER - Friends of Shirley A. (Kelly) Schaffer, who died Thursday, June 2, 2011, will be received at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of Shirley. We worked togather at Lowrie House, and became friends. We shared a passion for Nascar and Earnhart, and was glad to have her in my life. My sympathy to the family, she will be missed deeply.
