Thomas M. DiGiacomo, 70, of Butler died Sunday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Butler on Feb. 4, 1942, a son of Michael and Lorraine Thomas DiGiacomo.
Tom had worked for 18 years at Pullman Standard Railroad Car Co., until the plant closed. He then was a salesman for Hoffman-Kane Distributors in Pittsburgh, retiring after 15 years.
He was a member of Butler Elks Lodge 170.
Surviving are his loving wife of 36 years, Kathleen Davis DiGiacomo. They were married April 3, 1976.
Also surviving are four sons, Russell of Butler, Kenneth of State College and Daniel and David, both of Butler; four daughters, Karen DiGiacomo Rivers of Butler, Donna DiGiacomo of Saxonburg and Sandra Macefe and Michelle Willetts-DiGiacomo, both of Butler; 13 grandchildren, Janelle, Racheal, Zachery and 10 other grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Denise Filhart of Butler; his stepmother, Jacqueline DiGiacomo; and his devoted Sheltie, "Heidi."
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Willetts.
DIGIACOMO - Friends of Thomas M. DiGiacomo, who died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, will be received at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Thomas Gillespie of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church will officiate.
Cremation services were provided by Geibel Funeral Home.
