Lillian D. Brown, 103, of Butler passed away Monday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born in Butler on July 31, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Antoinette Baptiste Sinclair Jr.
She attended Butler schools.
She was employed at Bell Telephone Co. for five years and at Trude Hardware Company in Traverse City, Mich., for 12 years. She also worked at various jobs in Othello, Wash., where she lived for 33 years.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, the Ladies Guild of St. Michael's, and the Nixon Socialites.
She is survived by her niece, Mrs. Dorothy Logan Klingeman of Othello, Wash.; her nephew, James R. Logan of Othello, Wash., and a number of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Brown, who passed away Jan. 23, 1977, and her sister, Marie A. Sinclair.
Brown - The friends of Lillian D. Brown, who passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, will be received in Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Avenue, Butler, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Friday.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Butler County Humane Society.
