Patricia C. Lorenz, 76, of Butler passed away Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.
Born in New Bethlehem on May 29, 1937, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Mary E. Gallagher Tassey.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman, where she also served as an eucharistic minister.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Lorenz Sr., to whom she was married for 54 years; three sons, John R. Lorenz Jr. and his wife, Selene, of Butler, James R. Lorenz and his wife, Christine, of Butler and Christopher C. Lorenz and his wife, Michelle, of Butler; and two daughters, Leann M. Bauer and her husband, Howard, of Butler and Melinda A. Cornelius and her husband, Michael, of Butler.
She also is survived by three brothers, John Tassey and his wife, Toni, of Butler, Francis Tassey of Butler and Edward Tassey and his wife, Susan, of Butler; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Lorenz - The friends of Patricia C. Lorenz, who passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014, will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman with the Rev. Father Ward Stakem, OFM Cap., pastor, officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery.
