Colleen René Barger, 56, of Chicora, the beloved daughter of Sandy and Wiley Master of Chicora, passed away late Sunday afternoon at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Colleen was born in Butler on March 19, 1958.
She lived in Bruin for most of her childhood and graduated from Karns City High School in 1976. She had returned to Chicora after spending a number of years in Florida.
Colleen had been employed by Friedman's Supermarket in Chicora.
She was an avid Steelers fan.
She is survived by her dad and mother; her brother and sister-in-law, Jamie and Susan Murray of Butler; her two nieces, Morgan and Rachel Murray, and her nephew, Spencer Murray, who was also her godson, all of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Barger, and her maternal grandparents, "Cob" and Madge Bowser.
Barger - The friends of Colleen René Barger, who passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora, from 1 to 3 and 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
A funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald E. Roudebush, pastor of the Karns City Church of God of Prophecy, officiating.
Private interment will be in North Washington Union Cemetery, North Washington.
Memorial contributions in Colleen's name may be made to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
