Miriam M. "Mim" (Martin) Charlier, 71, of Zelienople passed away Saturday at St. John's Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born on Jan. 22, 1943, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Norman C. Martin and Betty Jane (Chambers) Oros.
Mim was a teacher's aid for the Seneca Valley School District and a production scheduler for Arco Oil. She was a hostess at Chubby Chuck's and the Kaufman House in Zelienople.
Above all, Mim's zest for life and her love of dance and music will be most treasured by those who loved her so dearly.
She is survived by her son, John (Christine Jennings) Copeland; her granddaughter, Amber (Wesley) Riddle; her four great-grandchildren, Jackson and Trenton Riddle, and Kylin and Dietrich Riddle; her two half-sisters, Michele Mankins and Melissa Wiens; her two nieces, Lisa Long and Laura Roberts; her nephew, Ron Long; her two cousins, Sharon Limp and Dale Limp; her caring friend, Harry Charlier and his entire family; and all of her caring friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Copeland, and her sister, Marcia R. Long.
Charlier - Mim's family will welcome the friends of Miriam M. "Mim" (Martin) Charlier, who passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. Andrew Shaffer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor in support of the Western PA Humane Society at wpahumane.org.
